Thank you for this informative post. I do these myofascial releases after training and then later in the evening. I was holding for 30 seconds on hot spots but it sounds like 2 minutes+ is more beneficial. For the calf, I found that rotating the leg slightly and pointing and flexing the toes really pinpointed the hot spot...thanks for that tip. Looking forward to a post on the upper body!
